Five month old California Condor chick, Gymnogyps californianus, is #1000 in the Condor Recovery Program and the first to fledge in Zion National Park


Condors 409 (mother) and condor 523 (father) are the only identified breeding pair in Zion. Their chick is believed to have hatched in early May and is called lK because he is #1000 in the Condor Recovery Program and the first to fledge in Zion National Park at the age of 41/2 months on September 25, 2020, Utah, USA
