[June 28, 1900. ^ TRADE NOTES, ^ Manufactiirers Annoanceiiients, Notices of NewGoods, Stteclul Offers, and General Informa-tion for Enteriirlslng Drogr Buyers. A3IERICAN ENTBItPRISK IX LONDON. On Monday morning I had a walk over Messrs. Parlie, Davis & New Premises in Queen Victoria street (No. Ill), the widest street inthe city of London, and which intersects Cannon streetopposite the C. & D. office. Tlie premises are the thirdoffice and warehouse which the world-known Americanfirm have had since Mr. F. M. Fisk came to establisha European branch of the business in London. Thisthird establishment is a flve-floor-and-basement build-in? which the G. P. O. occupies as a headquartersbranch of the Savings Bank, and to Messrs. In this easethe gratings are filled with familiar prism glass, but anessential part of the scheme is a pair of glass doorswith small squares of glass pressed into slanted moving these doors to a certain angle the glasscatches the light from the prism overhead and deflectsit from the 45 degree angle int
