Above, soft but bright red- dish-brown (or " tawny "), gradually becoming soft" olive-dusky" on the rump, tail, mid end of the wings. Beneath, white, with a very slight buff tinge upon the breast; spotted on the breast and sides with dark brown (or "dusky"). (6). The nest sometimes closely resembles that of the Eobin, but it is often composed outwardly of moss and even twigs, though subject to considerable variation in composition and structure.
