As the cyst enlarges these cells become flattened out,and eventually they are destroyed by the pressure of the cystic colour this fluid is pale yellow ; it contains albumen, salts, andnitrogenous extractives. It has a low specific gravity. Hydrops folliculorum per se causes no characteristic appears at every period of life up to the menopause. The cysts mayrupture and undergo spontaneous cure. Simple Serous Cysts. Some authorities regard the cyst described bythis title as the simplest form of an ovarian adenoma, but we considerit to be an exaggerated form of hydrops foUiculorum and thereforeinclude its description under infla
