This instrument is constructed on entirely new principles, and the most earnest andcareful attention is called to the Elliot Patent Tuning Arrangement, consisting of aslide, strin^-pin. and set-screw, held in place by a block or knob cast on the iron frame,by which positive accuracy of pitch, and reliability ot tune are attained.
