False-colour computed tomography (CT) scan of the front of the head showing a tumour (red circular area at bottom left) at the root of the optic nerve. This has established itself as an extension of an optic fibroma, a growth that has spread from the optic nerve (pink) at left side of image via the optic foramen. Aqueous humour filling the eye also appears in pink. The nasal passages & sinuses are coloured very dark blue.
