Oriental magpie-robin (Copsychus saularis) perched on a wire fence. This is a great songbird, the male of which has a very distinctive high-pitched call of up to ten different notes. Each bird has a uniquely different call. It is about 20 cm long when fully grown and it frequents urban areas. Its diet varies between grass seeds, insects and worms.
