The Australian Amphibious Task Group participated in Yama Sakura 75 as observers of the 3D Marine Expeditionary Brigade and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade bilateral training operations. Yama Sakura focuses on the development and refinement of Japan Self-Defense Force and military bilateral efforts in the areas of coordination, interoperability, and planning through training.
