7) 7TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Jan. 10, 2018) – Marines with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, the Battalion Landing Team for the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit await to run a close-quarters marksmanship circuit aboard USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52). The 15th MEU is embarked on the America Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed to maintain regional security in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
