The National Weather Service's (NWS) River Forecasting Center (RFC) is forecasting Bank full or higher flows for the Walla Walla River near Touchet and Mill Creek. Please inform others as needed to be alert to changing river conditions over the holiday weekend. Water Management will be monitoring the situation as we move forward and will be ready to act as necessary. Flows in Mill Creek over 1,400 cfs, are being diverted into Bennington Lake in accordance with the Mill Creek Water Control Manual and the recreation area will be unavailable at that time. Thanks for your time and attention, have a safe and fun New Year's weekend.
