A runner nears the half-way point of the Army 10-miler at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, as a C-130 takes off. The 189th Combat Service Support Battalion sponsored the run so that coalition Servicmembers, civlian employees, and contractors at Kandahar could join the thousands of other runners around the world taking part in the 2008 Army 10-miler.
