A set of historical wooden carvings carved from each of the three trees next to the historical Red Bridge, built by convicts in Campbell Town, Tasmania, Australia. The wooden sculptures were created by Tasmanian artist and sculptor Eddie Freeman using a chainsaw to create these unusual sculptures. One of the trees is a carving of the bushranger, Martin Cash. Seated near a telescope is Dr William Valentine who viewed the Transit of Venus in Campbell Town in 1874. The aeroplane and globe honour Harold Gatty, the aviator, who circumnavigated the planet in 1931. The Second is of the wildlife found along the Elizabeth River. The third is of a British Victorian sentry guarding a convict and the Red Bridge built by the convicts
