At this time (Oct. 13th) we have just arrived at our office, and there is not time to give any of the particulars concerning the meeting. Next week we will tell you all something about it, and likely begin the report of the proceedings, which were voted to be published in full in the Bee Journal. Bro. Oeo. \¥. Bvodbeck, of Los Angeles, is one of California's progressive bee-keepers. In a very cordial letter re- ceived last week, he says that since his return from Arrowhead Springs, he has disposed of his Arrowhead Apiary, and is at work now building up another, using a shallow, self-spacing frame, with the object of running exclusively for comb honey, securing the early spring flow there in the valley, after which he intends moving them to the mountains in time for the sage honey. The shallow frame is a novelty, and as yet an experiment in California, but Bro. B. is disposed to test it, and if his health permits, he will also carry out the migratory project as well.
