MANILA, Philippines (Sept. 16, 2022) Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Jesse Jones, from Milan, Tennessee, relays commands to a line team for the recovery of a rigid-hull inflatable boat during seamanship training aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76) while conducting small boat operations in Manila Bay, Sept. 16. Higgins is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
