We frequently saw thispretty little frog-mouth bird pop its head out ofthe hollow, or hole, in a tree while my brotherwas busy chopping steps and climbing. Theaccompanying photograph shows the position ofthe hollow, from which the eggs were taken, bythe white cross, and Nymboi Jack coming downthe tree. Specimen A. measures = 112 x087.
