The tubers grow very compact in the hill with strong and vigorous foliage of an in- tensely dark green ; it is a sure cropper, immense- ly productive. Peck 30c, bushel $ Freeman. This excellent new early potota is oblong and slightly flattened in shape; russet netted skin ; eyes very shallow ; table quality un- surpassed ; under fovorable conditions a splendid yielder for an early potato; especially suitable for moist or very rich land. It is of long oval shape and creamy white in color, cooking as white as the finest flour; it is hardy, prolific, handsome, early and a good keeper.
