Costume of Beatrice d'Este, duchess of Bari and later Milan, 15th century. She wears strings of pearls in her hair, and a long ponytail plaited with white and black. Her dress is in yellow fabric with blue and black stripes, decorated with violet ribbons. From the Pala Sforzesca altarpiece in the Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan.
