Plat 2 of lower plan affords several re-markably strong and beautiful featureswholly absent from the corresponding paitof our querists plan. They were obtainedeasily and consistently. It is very desirablein beautifying a place,.to set off the resi- dence in its relation to the street and to thegrounds as handsomely as possible,(becauseit is the home), with the barn and otherbuildings subordinate.
