The Hay Harvest June and July painted by the Dutch Renaissance painter Pieter Breughel the Elder in 1565, a part of his Seasons series. Breughel was the most important painter of the Dutch and Flemish Renaissance. His choice of subjects was influential, he rejected portraits and religious scenes in favour of local and peasant scenes.
