Comrade Harvey was born in EastHaddam, Conn., on October 11, 1S47, sohe was under seventeen years of age whenhe enlisted. His grandfather served allthrough the War of 1812. Abdiel , a brother of Comrade ByronHarvey, served three years in the 10thConnecticut Infantry, was wounded atKinston, N.
