EAST CHINA SEA (May 30, 2022) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Daniel Bello (left), from San Jose, California, and Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) 2nd Class Andrew Youngstrom (right), from Hastings, Minnesota, unpack a pallet on the flight deck of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) after a vertical replenishment with Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE-06). Dewey is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
