NORFOLK, Va. (March 13, 2009) - VADM Mel Williams Jr., Commander Second Fleet, hosted a ceremony honoring Women's History Month and celebrating diversity in the Navy. Cmdr. Jennifer Ellinger, staff secretary, Second Fleet, discussed her personal experiences coming up through the ranks. About 100 Sailors from Second Fleet attended the event, hearing successful women tell their stories and struggles and how they turned adversity into success.
