Model of the the Ancient Aztec City of Tenochtitlan, Zocalo Square, Plaza de la Constitucion, Mexico City, Mexico. A representation of the Aztec capital that used to be where Mexico City is today and was destroyed by the Spanish Conquistadors and replaced with their own buildings. The original city was built on a vast lake which does not exist now and Zocola Square is built on the original Aztec marketplace.
