NEWPORT, (March 7, 2017) William Bundy, professor in the Strategic and Operational Research Department at Naval War College (NWC) in Newport, Rhode Island, provides opening remarks during a Future Surface Combatant Workshop. Members of the surface warfare community gathered at NWC to explore the development of future surface combatant ships. This workshop marks the continuation of Gravely Group research under the sponsorship of the Commander, Naval Surface Warfare Center and the Surface Warfare Division of the Navy staff.
