General Oglethorpe bears a great love to the servantsand children of God, wrote the pastor of Ebenezer to his men from England visited this peaceful little colony, and lovedits interests. Wesley came over, and for two years lived and laboredhere ; and it was the head-quarters of many a band of missionaries,who went forth to the savage tribes, and told the story of the Saviourslove in the wigwams of the forest.
