Ward 171 debating I ^HE season of 1923-24 came to a close with a successful trip into *- The team, composed of Pickens and Ward met the University of Vermontand Middlebury on the question: Resolved, that the United States enter theWorld Court of International Justice. Opposing our entrance into the Court,the team lost a close contest to Vermont, but won handsomely at Middlebury. Soon after the opening of the college year, 1924-25, an attempt was made byVermont and M. A. C. to form a Quadrangular League with New Hampshire andMaine. The objective of the League was to improve the quality of debating andstimulate interes
