All Separators collect lint, butthe Howard & Bullough has so few parts and is soeasily cleaned that this disadvantage is reduced toa minimum. The Separator rod holders, whichallow the blades to be thrown back out of positionfor doffing, are neat and strong. Vibration in a Separator means bad work, andwe have given special attention to this point, asevidenced by the double bearings for the liftingrods, the stiffness of the Separator rod carrying theblades, and the general design.
