A view of eastern beach in Gibrlatar from above. In the background is Spain. The road leading up the beach will be part of the link road to the frontier with Spain. The sea area is a disputed area in which British Gibraltar Territorial waters is claimed by Spain as theirs and has been at the height of political tensions which have led to incursions by Spanish state vessels. The beach is one of the main tourist beaches on the Rock of Gibraltar located on the east side, next to the proposed area for a luxury reclamation complex which will include a super yacht marina.
