Seattle, Washington: Habitat restoration along the lower Duwamish waterway near the new South Park Bridge. The ongoing restoration is part of the South Park Green Spaces Vision Plan, a project of Seattle Parks Foundation. The South Park Bridge connects South Park's main business district to Seattle, near Boeing Field. The bridge opened to traffic on June 30, 2014, replacing the old bridge that was closed permanently in 2010 due to its deterioration.
