Crystals of Arsenopyrite with Pyrite and Melniko- vite. At left, a semi-circular deposit of arseno- pyrite (FeAsS) occurs associated with the grey spherical forms of melnikovite, and crystals of pyrite (lower right). Pyrite (FeS2) is the most widespread sulphide mineral, occurring worldwide, and used in the manufacture of sulphuric acid. Arsenopyrite is the principal ore of arsenic. Deposit found at Wheal Crebor, Devon, England.
