Entering Baltimoreand Ohio service in 1910 as captain of thetug Murray he was appointed to hispresent position on April 17 of this knowledge of the harbor, of the boatsthat ply upon it and of the men who workon them is both wide and deep. The tug boats are perhaps the mostinteresting craft of our navy. There areten of them, ranging in age from theNarragansett, built in 1865 to theGeorge M.
