Each day, Airmen within the 379th Expeditionary Wing Civil Engineer Squadron’s Force Protection flight provide installation-wide efforts to reduce the vulnerability of resources and personnel at Al Udeid Air Base. Force Protection escorts oversee construction workers and service contractors. Without these escort, the infrastructure and the quality of life at AUAB would suffer, according to Senior Master Sgt. Mireya Calderafavela, 379th ECES Force Protection superintendent.
