Seniors enjoying theirselves atop El Morro National Monument New Mexico - USA
I had my Nikon D7100 camera on a tripod for this shot at F16, Sp 125 and ISO 500. My 80 year old brother was goofing off telling our 85 year old sister to get down on her knees before him. They are laughing and playing around on top of the sandstone bluff at El Morro National Monument New Mexico - USA. It was a trip to celebrate our sister's 85 th Birthday. The trail is a two mile loop up to the top of the mesa, across the sandstone bluff and back down a switchback to the valley floor again and the visitor center. My sister goes to the gym three days a week and hikes with me once or twice a week. My brother lives near Chicago, Illinois and was here on a visit. El Morro has been protected since 1906. It is also called Inscription Rock named because of all the petroglyphs and signatures from conquisadors, calvary soldiers, and settlers from the 1200's to the 1900's.
