Navy Airman Justin Gevedon carries jet intake protective covers across the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) as the ship operates in the Pacific Ocean on Oct. 25, 2005. The screened protective covers prevent objects being sucked into the jet engines as they are tested. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is under way in the Pacific Ocean in support of the war on terror.
