City of Canterbury, England. Picturesque view of the historic Conquest House, at number 17 Palace Street on Canterbury’s King’s Mile. This Grade II* listed building is one of the Historic Buildings of Kent. The house is thought to date from the Norman conquest but the exterior is likely to be 16th Century. The building was the meeting place for the four knights who murdered St Thomas Becket, at Canterbury Cathedral.
