LIELVARDE AIR BASE, Latvia —A pilot flying an A-10 Thunderbolt II, assigned to Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich., is the first to land after performing missions over the skies of E astern Europe on the first day of Exercise Saber Strike 18 on June 4, 2018. Saber Strike is a longstanding Army Europe-led cooperative training, designed to enhance readiness and interoperability among allies and regional partners.
