A marble column from the Platterhof, on the Obersalzberg. From the canopied side entrance, which lead to the large hotel lobby. Made of light-coloured Untersberg marble, slightly bellied shaft, the capital following the Doric form, round, bulging echinus and square abacus. Excellent masonry. Weight ca. tons.
