FALCARRAGH, IRELAND - JUNE 14, 2011. Largest stone cross in Ireland located at the Ray Church, Falcarragh, Co. Donegal. Reputed to have been carved from a single rock by St. Colmcille in the 6th century. 20ft. high, 7ft. wide. Colmcille - St Columba - is the Irish saint who set sail from Derry in 563 to found his monastery on the Scottish island of Iona.
