This is one of the earliest known extant copies of the treatise, originally by Abu Rayhan Muhammad Bin Ahmad Al-Biruni (973-circa 1050), bound with three other treatises on the construction, use and theory of the astrolabe, dated 1231, 1238 and circa 1238.
