Recruits with Bravo Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, swing on a rope during a confidence course event at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June 25. Throughout the confidence course recruits were situated to overcome each obstacle to overcome fear and increase confidence amongst themselves. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Bravo Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 31.
