Granada, Colorado - The University of Denver Archaeology Field School at the World War 2 Amache Japanese internment camp. Camp survivors and descendents joined students in researching the camp's history. Eleanor Oi, whose father and grandparents were interned at Amache, helps with the excavation of a pond that residents built. More than 7,000 Japanese and Japanese-Americans were held at the site, one of 10 internment camps in the American west.
