Engine No. 5164 on the Severn Valley Railway.


During the last sixty years the Severn Valley railway has evolved from being a little known railway to very noteworthy British railway preservation. The original line was closed under the “Beeching Axe” in 1963, however services now operate between Kidderminster in Worcestershire and Bridgenorth in Shropshire for the benefit of tourists and railway enthusiasts alike. A distance of 16 miles. Situated on the edge of the Wyre Forest, Bewdley is four miles to the west of Kidderminster, in Worcestershire, UK.
