Upon the bank is spread thepanorama of a populous little village, the white walls and blueslate roofs reflected from the surface of the water as in a mir-ror. Behind the village the ground rises in a long range oflow hills, clothed with trees for the most part, the fields shin-ing golden with the growth of corn. Overhead the sky is cov-ered with a heavy stratum of rolling white cloud, betweenwhich the blue of the heavens appears brilliant and serene. Signed at the lower tight, Yj. Boidin.
