A variety of H. ramosa possessing an ovoidal central body bearing gonal and occasionally a small number of sutural processes. Gonal processes triangular in cross-section, sutural processes taeniate. Distally the processes are trifurcate or bifurcate often with bifid terminations, tapering to sub-conical in shape and sometimes branched. Sutural crests between processes proximal.
