A silver Dagestan kinjal with ivory inlays, early 20th century A double-edged, somewhat pitted blade with offset fullers on each side and a ridged point. A silver grip decorated with niello, set with beaded strips, and with ivory inlays set with gold on the obverse side. Silver scabbard worked en suite, with ornamental inlaid ivory pieces set with gold and tin. Two recesses on the reverse side with replacement leather cover. Gold inlay missing in places.
