Cover of the 1985/6 Manchester Gay Centre Annual Report, produced in 1986, in Manchester, UK, by the community Gay Centre on Bloom Street in central Manchester, with a photo, on the left of a young gay male couple at a civic reception for the August Bank Holiday 'Mardi Gras' event in the late 1980's. The report was produced by Terry Waller, then the one paid worker at the Centre, which had some 75 volunteers to deliver services to the local LGBT community. In the photo at left are Terry Waller, with his arm around his then boyfriend, Michael Higginson, later changing name to Michael Waller.
