A chamberlain's key, Electoral Cologne 1784 - 1802 Bronze, gilt, length 16 cm. The openwork bow displays the electoral arms of the City of Cologne with the Austrian Gules a Fess Argent on the escutcheon. The reverse escutcheon shows the Grand Master's Cross of the German Order. These indicate the reign of the Elector Archbishop Maximilian Franz (1784 - 1801), Grand Duke of Austria, who at the same time was Grand Master of the German Knight's Order.
