Fore wing grey ahnost wholly suffused with dark brown; subbasal line represented by a slight striga from coata ; antemedial line double, the outer line prominent, black, angled outwards below costa, then excurved and acutely angled inwards on vein 1, a whitish patch before it below the cell; orbicular represented by a pale point, the reniform by a greyish lunule with dark striga in centre; medial Hue slight, bent outwards beyond the cell, then inwards to below the cell and dentate; postmedial line double, black, slightly bent outwards below costa, oblique to vein 6 where it is rather obtusely angled, then evenly incurved, some white points beyond it on costa; subtermiual line greyish, angled inwards at discal fold and below vein 3 and excurved at middle, crossed by black streaks above and below vein 6 ; a greyish patch at apex; a series of black strite just before termen and a fine terminal line; cilia with a dark line through them. Hind wing dark brown with a cupreous tinge ; postmedial and two subterminal dark striae at inner margin with whitish between them; cilia white slightly chequered Avith brown ; the underside red mixed with blackish and some grey and with indistinct medial, double postmedial, and subterminal blackish lines.
