Of some strong lass who sits with dainty skill Proud of the chance her mistress' place to fill. • *Cheap machines, so called, all make the heavy " double chain stitch," that uses 6^ yards of thread to the yard sewn; while Singer's stitch only uses 2;^ yards of thread to the yard sewn. :..,?., .
