Portland-based artist and costumier, Sandra (66), was asked to make these 'devilish' masks for an upcoming production of a local amateur theatre group. She bought plain white masks from a high street discount book store and set about transforming them. Horns were fashioned from newspaper and then given a coat of white primer paint. Having fastened the horns to the masks with a strong glue, Sandra then achieved this scary 'trick or treat' look using the blood-curdling colours she mixed with acrylic paints.
